The Normex NM coupling comprises two hubs and a flexible ring designed to compensate different types of shaft misalignments. NM couplings are known for their reliability and are used in a range of applications for light, medium and heavy duty power transmission. The flexible rings are made using synthetic rubber possess high internal damping characteristic enable them to absorb and dampen torsional vibrations. Nitile rubber (NBR) is also resistant to oil, dirt, grease, moisture, ozone, and many chemical solvents making them suitable for a wide range of applications. They operate efficiently within a temperature range of -40 °C to +100 °C.
